As per a recent Google’s new tweet, the page experience update will go live on Google Search in Mid-June and completely come into play by the end of August 2021.

It will include several page experience signals, such as:

1. Core Web Vitals:

It is a subset of Web Vitals that represents a different facet of the user experience. It provides the matrics to avail a user-centric outcome. It includes three metrics:

  • Largest Contentful Paint (LCP)
  • First Input Delay (FID)
  • Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS)

2. Mobile Usability: It will show whether your page has mobile usability errors or not.

3. Security Issues: If your site falls into any security issues, it will be displayed. To get a good score, your site should not have any such errors.

4. HTTPS Usage: To receive a good score, a page must be served over HTTPS.

5. Ad Experience: You must not use any advertising techniques that are interrupting, distracting.

As per this top stories carousel, AMP is no longer a requirement for pages. This will come into play as early as this Thursday. Also, there will be frequent usage of non-AMP content, and the AMP badge icon will get removed from search results.
