The upcoming launch of the Samsung Galaxy (or “next Samsung Galaxy” ) is arguably the most awaited launching of an Android powered smartphone ever. Just to be sure though, the Korean firm has sent out one final reminder of its event in London today (or tomorrow for those in the US)…specially for who have been hiding under a rock, permanently offline or moreover engaged for the last 6 months.

The reminder from its Next Galaxy website through Mobile Syrup follows media invites sent out last month, which came after a boat-load of belief that pointed to a launch in late May.

We were very provoked with HTC’s new One range of Android-powered smartphones and we are excited to see if Samsung can provide the same with the third device of its Galaxy range.

The company, a few days back denied the rumors it is integrating a 3D display into its upcoming , but has not revealed the details of the its new Galaxy III smartphone. One leak news suggested that the phone will consists of a 4.65-inch Super AMOLED display screen and the company’s own quad-core Exynos processor, but this is not confirmed yet.

Samsung disclosed in February this year that it has shipped 20 million Galaxy II devices in the first ten months after launch and with shipments of the Galaxy Note also high, it will be expecting that the new device maintains strong demand for its mobile devices.

Independent analysis from Strategy Analytics and IDC pegged Samsung’s smartphone shipments as the largest within the industry, accounting for one third of total smartphone shipments, as it continues to be Apple’s main competitor.
