The Motorola Moto G40 and the Moto G60 Fusion India launched today. As per today’s norm, the releases of devices are held virtually. Motorola has been talking about the two devices for the last few days, exposing the core Moto G40 and the Moto G60 Fusion features.

Motorola Moto G60 and Moto G40 Fusion Release Event

The Moto G40 and the Moto G60 Fusion release event began at 12:00 PM IST. The launch ceremony was streamed live on YouTube. Nevertheless, I don’t think it will be available after that.

As per teasers from Motorola, the Moto G40 and the Moto G60 Fusion will share several specifications. For beginners, both smartphones will consist of a 6.8-inch long display with support for HDR10 and 120Hz refresh rate.

The advertising posters from Motorola unveil the smartphone’s design. And it can be viewed that the two smartphones will hold punch-hole positioned in the top-center piece of the screen.

Talking about imaging, the Moto G60 has a triple-camera composition with an 8MP ultrawide sensor, 108MP primary camera, which can double up as a macro lens, along a depth sensor whose resolution is not explored yet. 

Motorola did expose that the smartphone’s selfie camera will be a 32MP unit. The Motorola Moto G40 possesses a triple camera setup too. However, it is going to feature a 64MP primary camera rather than a 108MP sensor. The data regarding the extra two cameras are unknown as of now. 

Motorola exposes that the Moto G40 and the Moto G60 Fusion will be backed with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G processor. It says that these gadgets will operate on the “Near-Stock” Android 11 OS. 

Both the phones will carry a 6,000mAh battery, which, as per Motorola, will give “54 hours of non-stop power.” Besides, the Moto G40 and the Moto G60 Fusion bring ThinShield For Mobile “Business Grade Security.”

Motorola Moto G40 and Moto G60 Fusion Price in India

The latest Moto G60 is valued in India at Rs. 17,999 for the 128GB+ and 6GB storage model. It appears in Frosted Champagne and Dynamic Gray color choices. The release includes an immediate discount/off of Rs. 1,500 on ICICI Bank cards. Moreover, the smartphone will be ready to sell on Flipkart beginning at 12 pm (noon) on April 27.

Talking about Moto G40 Fusion, it priced 13,999 in India for the 64GB storage and 4GB RAM model and 15,999 for the 128GB storage and 6GB RAM option. Besides, it comes in Frosted Champagne and Dynamic Gray choices and will go on sale through Flipkart beginning 12 pm (noon) on May 1. The release discounts include an Rs—1,000 immediate off on ICICI Bank cards.
