Much awaited iTunes 11 has arrived on Thursday as an update for both Windows and Mac.

The software update offers a “completely refurbished” media player with expanded features to match the functionality of new iTunes, and probably those users who have been using iTunes 10 from past two years needs few days for getting used to the new redesigned media player.

In addition to the usual software tweaks (speed, stability, etc.) ideally included in any software update, iTunes 11 sports a couple new features under the hood, not the least of which is a brand-new user interface.

Other important feature include an engine to recommended songs you might enjoy, a refreshed instant-playlist tool, a new mini-player and broaden the usage of Apple’s iCloud which means that users can now access their files(images, audio, videos etc) which they have bought on their Apple devices like iPad, iPhone and iPod.
