Google has launched a new beta version of its chrome browser which is the world’s second-favorite browser and this beta is even more faster than the previous version as well as augments its security.

The new beta release of the Chrome browser, version 17.0 .963.26 beta-m, gains some of its more speed by “loading some Web pages in the background, even before you finish typing the URL in the omnibox.”

The Chrome beta will proffer extra protection against malicious sites and their malignant downloads. Dominic Hamon ,a Software engineer wrote in the Google Chrome official blog post that this beta version consists of “expanded functionality to analyze executable files (such as “.exe” and “.msi” files) that you download.” Chrome will inform the users with a warning that they should discard such malicious files. Dominic Hamon further added that the company will be making Chrome even more faster and smarter in the coming months, enabling it to recognize even more malicious files.
