Google is going to add 600 movies from Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer collection to the titles it has available for rent on YouTube and also to Google Play, its digital content store for Android-powered mobile devices.

MGM’s film library includes classics like “Rain Man” and “Rocky” have joined five other most popular and major studios who are offering movies for rent through Google : Time Warner Inc.’s Warner Bros, Comcast Corp.’s Universal, Viacom Inc. ,Sony Pictures,. The Walt Disney Co. and Paramount.

Similarly several other smaller studios like The Weinstein Co. and Lions Gate Entertainment Corp also provide movies online through Google on rent.

YouTube is available on mobile devices, computers and also on Google TV which is an Internet connected TV platform available on Blue-ray players, Logitech Revenue set-top box and on Sony televisions.
